Hello, and welcome to JP's Custom Turf & Landscaping, LLC. My name is Jason Perry. I have over 10 years experience in designing and installing synthetic turf projects. My team and I are here to provide you with unparalleled service with your upcoming or existing project. We do not send salesman out, contract the job and then subcontract our installs out to the lowest bidder. We are passionate about what we do and providing our customers with a professional, one-of-a-kind experience and custom installation. Very few owners are on the job working with the crew, however I am, and my promise to you is to provide you with a one-off a kind installation.
Are you struggling with your lawn? Do you have standing water and drainage issues? Is shade not allowing your lawn to grow? Are you tired of costly lawn maintenance and chemicals? Is your four-legged family member tracking in dirt, or is it just time for something new? JP's Custom Turf & Landscaping is here to help.
Why should you install synthetic grass? You will have a beautiful green lawn year around—no more bare or patchy yellow spots. Your four-legged friend's paws will not be tracking dirt and debris in the house. Artificial grass eliminates standing water which helps terminate mosquito breeding grounds as well as other insects and rodents. You will be conserving water and power from eliminating daily watering. Cash savings yearly from no more costly chemicals and maintenance contracts.
Turf with fall proof padding for gyms, playgrounds, cross training, softball, football and soccer, turf for tennis courts, bocce ball courts and pet specific turf.
Turf for rooftop bars and patios. We also have drainage tiles for installations on asphalt, concrete and much more. If we don't have it we will find it.
We receive many questions about turf being pervious from HOAs, architectural boards, and homeowners. Not only is our turf pervious. We have turf that drains at the rate of 24 inches per sq ft per hour up to 100 + inches per sq ft per hour
with a proper sub-base. Unlike regular lawns. Synthetic grass will not pit on heavy down pours and cause puddles. The water will flow through the turf and disperse throughout the sub-base.
Our installation process starts with excavating and removing five inches of your existing soil in preparation for sub-base materials. In some situations, we add five inches to the existing ground. There are circumstances where we must use drainage tiles, such as installing turf on asphalt, concrete, and some indoor applications.
The depth of the sub-base is critical for water dispersion once passing through the turf and also gives your turf structural stability. If your turf were to be installed upon a sub-base with incorrect depth and improper sub-base materials, you would have soft or low spots, seam separation, standing water, wavey or buckled turf, and costly repairs.
To achieve proper compaction, structural integrity and maximum drainage, we use a minimum of 3 inches of 57 stone and 2 inches of granite screenings for sub-base materials unless the installation requires other products to be used, such as drainage tiles.
Infill is applied to the fibers once the turf is installed, seamed, and glued. Infill is critical for the turfs' longevity.
Here are a few reasons why
One of the critical factors of maintaining your turf's performance over time depends largely on the amount and quality of infill used, in conjunction with your sub-base materials and depth of the sub-base.
Envirofill is non-toxic and is the only infill on the market infused with Microban that has antimicrobial protection that works continuously to help inhibit bacterial growth, mildew, and mold that may cause odors, stains and product deterioration. Microban has also been scientifically proven to help breakdown the ammonia odor that comes with pet urine Unlike Envirofill, raw sand is prone to allow seeds to germinate and absorb fluids. It will clog turf's drainage holes, leaving you with a smelly watery mess. Raw sand is cheap and some companies will use such products for infill to cut costs. We will not and highly suggest that you don't ether.
JP’s Custom Turf & Landscaping offers yearly and monthly commercial and residential lawn maintenance.
Be sure to inquire about all products in your installation quotes! Companies that use sub-standard materials to cut costs can be costly to you in the end.

Most all of our turf used has a 15-year limited product warranty through the manufacturer.
JP's Custom Turf & Landscaping offers a limited warranty on the installation for one year.
Each project will vary depending on things such as; what turf you choose, square footage, accessibility to the project, and how elaborate you would like to be with the design, lighting, landscaping, etc.
We suggest you blow the turf off to stop the occasional blown or washed-in seedling from burrowing into the turf and sprouting. If your turf were installed in a high-traffic area, dog park, or recreational facility, you would need additional brushing and infill applied monthly to the turf to help maintain the turf's pile height, performance, and longevity.
